Car seats are available for purchase, for infants and children who weigh up to 40 pounds, or temporary rental, for children who weigh up to 100 pounds.  For more information, call the Lee County Health Department.

 Infant, Toddler, and Booster Seat Rental
Any county resident may rent a car seat for a short period of time (up to 6 weeks) for a $20 deposit, of which $15 will be returned to the client when the seat is brought back in good condition with all hardware.

Beginning December 12, 2011, there will be a Certified Car Seat Installer on staff.  Call to schedule and appointment.
